Naturally aspirated V8, quattro, and it even comes in purple! What's not to like?

The purple and the blue both look awesome.

Also, inbefore "but no manual hurrr durrr".

I don't like it. :/

The V8 could use a supercharger for some mid range punch so you don't get outgunned by a diesel Mondeo. Honestly, having to rev the nuts out of your engine to go anywhere sucks.

Quattro I'm fine with (mostly).

Purple is shite.

That's a very German purple, aka "so dark it's effectively black."

Mopar isn't afraid of real purple:

Because it only comes in auto. E90 M3 is better.

Umm infinite understeer? Takes all the fun out of an otherwise near perfect car.

Who cares if it's not offered in manual? Being brutally honest here, but the dual clutch is probably faster. And paddles are Ze Sex.

Is it that bad? I've never driven one so I can't compare to my E90M3

Yes it's horrible. It's still a great "only car" if you live in a snowy climate. Just don't plan to have any fun with it when the pavement is dry.

Have you ever driven a 400+ HP N/A V8?

We're not talking about high strung N/A 4 banger from the 1990s here.

This car has 317 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. Yeah that's not as much as a diesel but who gives a shit? The HP more than makes up for it. And this car is never going to get out gunned by a diesel Mondeo.

So many people read specs online and talk shit on N/A performance cars because of their "lack of torque". But most those people haven't actually driven the cars. When you mate an engine like this to a DCT revving the engine isn't annoying, it's fun as hell. I have an E90 M3 with a DCT and if you think that car sucks because I have to rev the nuts out of it to go anywhere you're dead wrong. When I'm cruising around the car isn't revving that high and the engine isn't that loud. But it's super fucking fun to hit the M button and snap off high rev upshifts when I'm giving it the beans. It's what makes the car exciting. It's quiet and civilized when you want it to be and loud and batshit when you want it to be. The powerplant is a lot more exciting than the H6 in my 997.2 C2. The 911's motor has more mid range torque but it also doesn't rev as high or sound 1/10th as good at WOT.

Yeah...Quattro is getting better than it used to be. They are tuned with more rear bias now, but still understeer horribly at the limit.

I can't even imagine it then! I feel like my M3 understeers too much.

All caes understeer these days. Just a matter of a little bit, a medium amount or a ton

But if you turn off traction control you can get the M3 to sling it's tail out with a little throttle exiting turns. You can't do that with an Audi. The more throttle you give it the more it wants to go straight. I wouldn't recommend doing that on the street BTW.

Oh yeah that's def true! You can even do it with traction control on, or in MDM, which is awesome.

I was thinking more of the understeer you get going into a turn. You can induce oversteer though. And I love how predictable it is. Sometimes I'll go into MDM mode to loosen up traction/stability control a little bit and give the car a little extra oomph coming out of a turn on a deserted street. It's fun to feel the tail step out a bit and have MDM catch it for you. You can't really do this in my 911, at least not easily.

Wow you really can't sling the tail out with the Audi RS cars? That sucks.
